Chipangali

This privately-owned sanctuary for sick, orphaned or abandoned birds, reptiles and wild animals is situated 24 km from Bulawayo on the Johannesburg road (also the road to Beit Bridge).  Chipangali provides the visitor with a wonderful opportunity to get close to so many of Southern Africa’s wild creatures, including some dangerous ones – hyenas, lions and leopards!

Over the decades Chipangali has received worldwide attention through the international press and television.

All entrance fees at Chipangali are used to manage and maintain the orphanage.
