Bulawayo has three cellular networks, namely Netone, Econet and Telecel. All three networks operate on a prepaid and contract system. At the moment Econet is the only network offering internet services. Internet shops/cafes are located all around the city centre, offering both wireless and dial-up connections. The internet services have improved across the nation, with the introduction of broadband, which has increased the download speed.
