All major credit cards are now accepted throughout Zimbabwe’s major cities.
You can use your credit card to draw $400 per day
Clients and carry cash on them in either U$, South African Rand or Botswana Pula and in small denominations as some places are unable to give change in foreign currency
CURRENCY
Zimbabwe's unit of currency is the Zimbabwe dollar and is currently suspended, so take in USD, South African Rand's or Euros in cash.
South African Rand's work best in supermarkets and USD for accommodation and activities. Carry cash in small denominations as change in either currency is scarce.
Credit Cards are accepted in most big towns, some hotels, restaurants, and a few service providers
Pre Book and Pay for as much as possible outside the country and you can still have a wonderful holiday without crowds

** VISA, DINERS and AMEX cards will be accepted. MasterCard is accepted at certian places
**Clients to settle accounts in foreign currency i.e. SA Rand's or U.S. Dollars
**Clients to take small denominations of bank notes as change is limited to sweets etc
Banks in Zimbabwe are open for business during the following hours.
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 08.00-15.00 hours.
Wednesdays 08.00-13.00 hours
Saturdays. 08.00-11.30 hours
Payments, Banks, Credit Cards
All mentioned entry fees, boarder charges, accommodation and activities need to be paid in foreign currencies. Preferred currency in Zimbabwe is the US$ and South African Rand. Although other currencies like the Euro can be used. We strongly advise guests to carry sufficient amounts of US$ in cash ($50 notes and smaller)
