 - Promoting education and training at all levels, particularly for those responsible for care
 - Facilitating activities that improve the well-being of individuals living with dementia
 - Our goal is to give families and other carers of affected persons an opportunity to assist, encourage one another, and share and discover information regarding the conditions of Alzheimer’s and related disorders.
 - Education and training of people from grass grassroots level upward is our objective, not only in urban areas but also in rural communities. We must dispel the myth and stigma associated with Dementia.

Understanding Dementia
Dementia is a collective term for various brain disorders affecting memory, thinking, and social abilities. It is essential to recognize that Alzheimer’s and related dementias are diseases – not a normal part of aging. Existing stigma can lead to isolation and misunderstanding, which we aim to dispel through education.
ZARDA’s Services
Community Impact
ZARDA has made significant strides in affecting the community positively by increasing dementia awareness, providing essential support services, and forging connections among families dealing with dementia. Through our programs, we have seen promising improvements in understanding and reducing stigma associated with the disease.
Funding Needs
To sustain and expand or services, ZARDA relies on funding for educational programs, resource development, and community outreach. As a voluntary organization, we do not receive government funding and depend solely on support from donors and the community.
