Water World Bulawayo

Water World Bulawayo is a water park situated in the suburb of Montrose with water slides, a restaurant, coffee shop and kids activities. The park is fun for both adults and kids to enjoy.

Water World Bulawayo

The lush plants and green lawns make the park a tropical paradise with the bright colours of the slides creating a fun environment for everyone to enjoy.

History of Water World Bulawayo

Originally the park was The Living Waters Church, which was built in 1989. The property was subsequently sold and has been run as a water park ever since. Under new management, the water park has grown and expanded to what it is today.

What Water World Offers

The water park is an alcohol free zone making it suitable for the whole family.

We have 3 swimming pools.

One is a kiddies pool which is 0.7 meters deep with 2 kidies size slides.

There is also one round pool at 1.2 meters deep with no slides at all.

The main attraction is 1.2 meters deep with 2 slides. One slide is colourfully painted with 4 bright colours. The other slide is fibreglassed.

On-site we have an kiosk which is run by Water World.

The restaurant is run by Sadie’s kitchen with the coffee shop run by Lamalicks.

Our latest addition is the snake park which is leased out to two of Bulawayo’s top snake handlers.

We also have a very small swim wear shop to provide affordable swim wear for those who have forgotten to bring their own (or those who feel they are missing out and want to join in the fun).

There are no life guards but one member of staff is first aid trained.

Our Facilities

We have a game room with pool table, mini soccer play station 4, air hockey, and a few arcade games.

We have a selection of 7 jumping castles including a foam one, however, these are not always all up at the same time. These are available for hire off site.

Functions

We hire the venue for private functions. These can include Sunday school, birthday parties, family functions, and general events.

The venue is available from 9am to midday at $200. If a jumping castle is requested we provide one at an additional $10. Once hired, the venue is exclusive to the hirer.

Hirers are allowed to bring in their own food, drink, and cake, but no alcohol, glass, or pork.

When Is Water World Open?

As we are a water park we are affected by weather conditions. Therefore, we close during Zimbabwe’s winter months.
